Marketing Manager – Demand Generation

GeoPura is looking to recruit an experienced and proactive Marketing Manager who is passionate about sustainability and wants to make a difference as part of a growing, innovative, clean energy business. With a strong focus on Demand Generation, this new role will drive growth within our target markets across a range of B2B sectors.

You will take responsibility for planning, executing and optimising marketing campaigns with a focus on attracting and engaging prospects, nurturing leads, and optimising conversion pathways.

Reporting to the Marketing Director, this is a pivotal role within a growing marketing team, supporting the next phase of the business scale-up strategy by ensuring that demand generation efforts align with wider business growth objectives and reinforce the GeoPura brand across all touchpoints.

Working closely with and supported by colleagues in the commercial and marketing teams, you will use your data-driven and collaborative mindset to develop and execute innovative and effective inbound and outbound marketing activities, using an account-based marketing approach to drive qualified leads and support conversion of strategic accounts within the clean energy sector.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Working closely with the sales and commercial teams to develop and implement account-based marketing strategies that align marketing efforts with sales goals.
  • Developing engaging content, including presentations, sales literature, email marketing campaigns and support materials to nurture leads through the sales funnel, ensuring timely and personalised communication to aid conversion.
  • Develop and implement paid media strategies to drive demand, incorporating platforms such as LinkedIn and Google.
  • Managing the end-to-end execution including ad creatives, targeting parameters and ongoing performance monitoring and reporting.
  • Website CRO and SEO support
  • Work as part of the wider marketing team to support brand, awareness and engagement strategies across the whole portfolio as needed to contribute to overall success.
  • Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in demand generation, lead generation, and marketing automation to drive performance.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience in creating and executing successful B2B demand generation campaigns and strategies working closely with sales teams, demonstrating tangible results in increasing quality leads, conversion rates and sales
  • Experience in inbound marketing including content marketing, conversion optimisation and search engine optimisation.
  • Experience in developing and implementing account-based lead generation and nurturing strategies including segmentation, targeting and personalised communication.
  • Knowledge of paid media strategies, digital advertising platforms and best practices in digital marketing
  • Proficiency in using marketing automation tools and CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce) .
  • Excellent copywriting, editing and proofing skills.
  • Understanding of sales processes and the ability to collaborate with sales teams to provide the necessary tools and resources
  • Experience in target sectors that include construction, transport, events and TV production and broadcast.
  • An active interest in clean technology and sustainability
  • A hands-on, can-do approach with a desire to grow and develop alongside the business.
  • Min 3 years experience in a digital marketing role


  • Marketing degree preferred
  • CIM digital qualification/equivalent preferred

Location: Hybrid – commutable to Newcastle (or other hub) & remote working
