GeoPura’s initial focus has been off-grid, temporary and back-up power, essentially diesel generator displacement, using low-carbon hydrogen via GeoPura’s proprietary Hydrogen Power Unit (HPU). The HPUs are manufactured to a GeoPura design by our partner Siemens Energy at their Newcastle facility, and employs an industrial fuel cell, UPS and batteries to deliver critical, zero-emission “energy as a service” to our customers across a wide range of use-cases from construction to film and TV production, to outdoor events. Existing clients include Netflix, BBC, HS2, Balfour Beatty and National Grid
Following significant Series A investment, bringing in world class partners General Motors, Siemens Energy, Barclays Capital and SWEN Capital partners (Giants of industry, manufacturing and finance back UK green hydrogen pioneer GeoPura with £36m investment – GeoPura) GeoPura are expanding and looking to hire a Commercia Delivery Director to join the Commercial Team.
This role will work closely with, and report directly to the Chief Commercial Officer.
Requirements of the role:
- Driving exceptional customer service and delivery across GeoPura’s bespoke commercial projects.
- Building and nurturing relationships with key customers to ensure retention, repeat business and growth.
- Coordinating and collaborating cross-functionally with colleagues, clients, suppliers and key stakeholders to determine the scope and timeline of the project
- Keeping multiple projects on track and ensuring they are completed on time and according to specifications
- Leading client meetings, running project taskforce sessions and following up cross-functionally so that the actions are delivered and on time
- Obtain quotes and deliverables from suppliers when required for specific projects
- Following up with customers to ensure that they are satisfied with their experience
- Reporting on project timescales, timesheets and other project-related tasks
- Budgetary control of projects
Key Skills/Experience:
- Experienced in liaising with clients and delivering outstanding customer service.
- Proficient in Project Management, skills and software use, to effectively run and manage projects.
- Experienced at dealing with people at all levels in a variety of organisations from private sector to government agencies
- Naturally proactive and comfortable in chasing and following up to close actions
- Naturally driven to deliver results and succeed at meeting deadlines.
- Able to work under pressure
- Attention to detail and be able to provide client-facing material
- Demonstrable experience in client engagement and project management roles
- Commercial contract experience for engineering/construction projects is highly desirable
- Proven leadership skills
- Business degree or similar.
