We’re thrilled to have won the “Low Carbon” award at the prestigious Energy Institute Awards 2021!
The awards were hosted at a virtual ceremony on Thursday, 25th November, and showcased the most innovative and creative talents across the global energy sector.
Our entry – ‘GeoPura displaces diesel generators with Hydrogen Power Units’ – focused on the development and deployment of our HPUs. Over 10 years of research and development has been dedicated to creating an emission-free alternative to diesel generators, with the capability to produce critical power at the scale required commercial applications.
Our HPUs provide 250kW electrical output, 80kW thermal power and 216kWh battery storage. The units can be run in parallel to deliver up to 1MW of power, used to provide combined heat and power systems, and supply all standard AC loads including EV chargers. We’re delighted to see our Hydrogen Power Units (HPU) receive recognition from some of the most accomplished energy professionals.
