A big thank you to everyone involved – we’re ready for The Goodwood Festival of Speed

News

The sun is shining, our Fuel Cell is in action at The Goodwood Festival of Speed and we are waiting for the gates to open and to meet our first visitors.

It’s been a long three months getting here and none of this could have been done without the support of the amazing team that we have put together. We would like to say a big heartfelt thank you to technology suppliers Power Control and Logan Energy. They have been great partners and supporters helping us to commission and build the Goodwood Festival Of Speed zero emission, carbon free, charging system. Most impressive of all is the superb performance of Siemens. Large multinational organisations are not generally associated with rapid market response and fast moving entrepreneurial behaviours, and yet Siemens have put together an excellent team capable of delivering this proposition in a very short time. This bodes very well for the future, as Siemens also has the global reach, and technology breadth to really make a difference to our environment and hence our future lives.

Renewable Energy with Siemens

The technology that we are showcasing here with Siemens has many implications for the future as it is a viable answer to how vast amounts of renewable energy can be stored, transported and generated off-grid. This could be a game changer in providing emissions free power to festivals and outdoor events and for producing the vast amount of energy required to power the UK’s growing number of Electric Vehicles (EVs).

We are very much looking forward to the next four days here at the Goodwood Festival of Speed!

Don’t hesitate to contact our friendly team today!
