We are delighted to announce that on Friday 4th December GeoPura proudly accepted Solar & Storage Live’s EV Infrastructure Project of the Year Award. The award recognises our achievements to date in using green hydrogen to deliver zero emissions charging for the world’s growing number of electric vehicles.

GeoPura launched on Clean Air Day in June 2019 and, alongside the festival’s Technology Partner Siemens, we showcased our world-first hydrogen fuel cell technology at the Goodwood Festival of Speed the following month. We delivered our ‘clean’ hydrogen fuel cell system and powered a section of the festival, charging Electric Vehicles in the First Glance Paddock with 100% renewable energy.

In November, GeoPura and Siemens then went on to install a temporary fuel cell system in Florence, Italy, to generate electricity to charge the Polestar 1 during its European press tour.

As we look to the future, and the need to drastically reduce our carbon emissions, we’re very proud of what we and our partners have achieved to date, and the many opportunities that lie ahead.
