GeoPura is working in partnership with Siemens Energy to provide this delivery of renewable, zero emission energy at a large and significant scale. With experience in providing zero-emissions power to a wide range of industries – from construction to film and TV production, to outdoor events – GeoPura harnesses hydrogen technology to generate and distribute the vast amount of energy required to decarbonise our global economies. Current clients of GeoPura include Netflix, BBC, HS2 and Polestar EV cars. Due to growth, GeoPura are recruiting Sales Managers to join their existing sales team in Newcastle upon Tyne.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales growth by identifying, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities in targeted sectors, with a focus on sustainable energy solutions.
- Responsible for selling and gaining high value strategic contracts with key clients.
- Support the commercial production and growth of Hydrogen Power Units.
- Responsible for generating monthly KPI reporting
- Achieve personal and team sales targets by supporting and continuously monitoring team performance. Maintaining high utilisation rates of Hydrogen Power Units and nurturing key client accounts
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in industries such as construction, events, transport, and film & TV.
- Provide expert consultation to clients, understanding their energy needs and presenting tailored zero-emission hydrogen-powered solutions.
- Work collaboratively with the product development and engineering teams to ensure client requirements are met with innovative solutions.
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial lead generation to contract negotiation and closure.
- Represent GeoPura at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings, advocating for the benefits of hydrogen and sustainable energy.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitive landscape to identify new business opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
- Meet and exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall growth and success of the company
Qualifications and Experience:
- Demonstrable sales experience, ideally within power generation, renewable energy, hydrogen, or fast-growth technology companies.
- A hands-on, proactive attitude with the ability to drive change and make an impact.
- Experience in or strong knowledge of industries such as construction, film & TV, events, or transport.
- A passion for sustainability and a commitment to supporting GeoPura’s mission of cleaner, greener energy.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence key decision-makers.
- A degree in engineering, a numerate discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
