Position Overview:

We are expanding our Business Development team and looking for experienced and driven individuals who are eager to be part of an industry-leading company focused on sustainability. As a Business Development Manager at GeoPura, you will play a pivotal role in promoting and selling our cutting-edge hydrogen-powered energy solutions, helping to clean up power generation and create a greener future for all.

If you have a background in power generation, renewable energy, hydrogen technologies, or fast-growth tech scale-ups, and have a strong network and experience in industries such as construction, film & TV, events, or transport, this is the role for you. Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales growth by identifying, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities in targeted sectors, with a focus on sustainable energy solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in industries such as construction, events, transport, and film & TV.
  • Provide expert consultation to clients, understanding their energy needs and presenting tailored zero-emission hydrogen-powered solutions.
  • Work collaboratively with the product development and engineering teams to ensure client requirements are met with innovative solutions.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from initial lead generation to contract negotiation and closure.
  • Represent GeoPura at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings, advocating for the benefits of hydrogen and sustainable energy.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitive landscape to identify new business opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall growth and success of the company.
  • Support the commercial production and growth of the hydrogen supply side of the business.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Demonstrable sales experience, ideally within power generation, renewable energy, hydrogen, or fast-growth technology companies.
  • A hands-on, proactive attitude with the ability to drive change and make an impact.
  • Experience in or strong knowledge of industries such as construction, film & TV, events, or transport.
  • A passion for sustainability and a commitment to supporting GeoPura’s mission of cleaner, greener energy.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence key decision-makers.
  • A degree in engineering, a numerate discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • The successful candidate will be expected to speak at public events, experience of this is desirable.
