We’re delighted to be supporting the Goodwood Festival of Speed’s Technology Partner Siemens by delivering ‘clean’ Hydrogen fuel cell technology to charge the Electric Vehicles in the First Glance Paddock as well as the public’s mobile phones.
Anyone who has been to a festival or large outdoor event will be familiar with large, often diesel, generators that provide power. This year, Siemens and GeoPura will showcase a cleaner and greener alternative – the hydrogen fuel cell.
GeoPura’s MD, Andrew Cunningham, said: “We are absolutely delighted to be invited to join Siemens and showcase this technology. Our proposition, officially launched on 20th June, provides an answer to how we can generate and distribute renewable energy off grid.
“This has many implications for festivals of the future and an answer to producing the vast amount of energy required to power the UK’s growing number of Electric Vehicles (EVs). As the number of Electric Vehicles on our roads continues to increase, GeoPura and Siemens are able to make any car park a renewable energy fuel station generating 100% emissions free off-grid electricity and powering unlimited numbers of charging points.”
