From 31 March to 4 April, GeoPura will be exhibiting at Hannover Messe 2025, Europe’s leading event for industrial transformation. You’ll find us in Hall 013, Stand C03, where we’ll be showcasing how our Hydrogen Power Units (HPUs) are enabling the shift to clean, high-capacity energy in places where traditional grid solutions fall short.

At the center of the stand is our latest innovation, HPU2, a second-generation hydrogen power system delivering 500kW per unit, scalable up to 50MW, and designed to tackle two of the most pressing energy challenges of our time: grid capacity constraints and deteriorating air quality.

Why Hydrogen Power Matters Now

Across Europe, the demand for clean electricity is surging  – but grid access isn’t keeping pace. Projects in construction, data, logistics, and transport are being delayed or limited by lack of grid capacity. At the same time, growing concern over local air pollution is forcing a rethink on traditional backup power systems like diesel generators.

  • Grid connection delays are stalling critical developments across Europe
  • Power demand is growing rapidly, particularly in data centres, EV charging, and infrastructure
  • Air quality is under greater scrutiny, with stricter environmental regulations and public pressure mounting
  • Diesel generators, once the go-to solution, are no longer viable for businesses with sustainability goals

Hydrogen power offers a proven, scalable alternative. We don’t just replace diesel. We help unlock energy access for sites that are otherwise grid-constrained, enabling companies to move forward without compromise.

We’ll be showcasing two powerful demonstrations of hydrogen’s potential:

1. HPU2 – Industrial-Scale Hydrogen Power

HPU2, our second-generation Hydrogen Power Unit. Built for industrial-scale power, HPU2 delivers:

  • 500kW per unit, scalable up to 50MW
  • Seamless integration with grid, microgrid, and renewable sources
  • Ultra-low noise and zero emissions – no CO₂, NOx, or particulates
  • Modular deployment for prime power, backup, or peak demand support

HPUs are already being used to support data centres, large-scale construction, EV charging hubs, and critical infrastructure, helping businesses meet net-zero goals without relying on fossil fuels, waiting for grid upgrades or endangering the heath of those nearby.

2. The Extreme H Pioneer 25 – Performance Without Pollution

Also on display is an exclusive preview of the Extreme H Pioneer 25, the world’s first hydrogen-powered off-road race car, designed for the upcoming Extreme H motorsport series.

GeoPura is proud to be a technical partner in this ground-breaking project, supporting:

  • The development of hydrogen refuelling infrastructure
  • Creation of safety standards and operational protocols
  • Deployment of real-time power solutions under high-performance conditions

The car itself is a clear statement: hydrogen doesn’t just work in controlled environments – it performs under pressure, in tough terrain, at speed.
